Stylist tips
Together with stylist Alina Michaylenko, we’re exploring how to build a personalized spring wardrobe. We’ll focus on SS26 silhouettes, how to style accessories, and tips for choosing pieces that will last beyond a single season.

A spring wardrobe is no longer about updating just for the sake of updating. It functions as a system where each new piece should not replace the previous one, but rather integrate into the existing structure.
SS26 doesn’t offer rigid formulas. Instead, there’s a shift toward silhouette, proportion, and the character of the garment.
The first shift occurs in the outer layer.
The classic trench coat in SS26 loses its basic shape and evolves into more expressive interpretations. Trendy cropped models with voluminous shoulders, options with a dropped waistline, or exaggerated silhouettes. Colored versions are also emerging, serving as a statement piece in the wardrobe. An alternative is a raincoat-style parka, which adds functionality and a modern twist.

Instead of the classic biker jacket, the focus is shifting toward more structured styles. These include single-breasted jackets or models with a dropped waist and a peplum, which play with proportions and add sophistication to an outfit. It’s also worth considering leather jackets or trench coats as a more long-term investment in your wardrobe.

The lightweight coat remains one of the season’s most versatile pieces. It easily integrates into both classic and more relaxed looks, serving as a unifying element in your wardrobe. Models in unconventional colors or with animal prints are particularly on-trend, adding character without being overwhelming.

The sports windbreaker serves as a tool for creating stylistic contrast. It transcends the boundaries of athletic wear and is incorporated into mixed-style outfits. The key principle is not to wear it in a head-to-toe sports look, but to pair it with more structured or basic pieces, creating tension between styles.

Headwear serves as a focal point capable of transforming an outfit’s character. The spotlight is on pillbox hats, berets, exaggerated and architectural shapes, as well as satin textures or sequined options. It’s important to choose not just a trend, but a style that enhances your personal look.

In SS26, bags play not only a functional but also a structural role in the look. • Woven bags — a versatile option for both city life and leisure • Animal-print bags — an accent that easily integrates into a basic wardrobe • pouch bags — as a soft alternative to structured shapes • oversized — as functional and visual volume

The SS26 spring wardrobe isn’t about new pieces. It’s about a new way of working with what you already have.
Silhouettes change. Accessories add character. But the key element remains the same—the ability to make conscious choices.
That’s what determines whether a piece will stay in your wardrobe for more than just one season.
