WHAT TO TAKE FROM PARIS FASHION WEEK INTO YOUR WARDROBE

We often perceive fashion weeks as a grand theater where things only exist on the catwalk or in the lens of street style. But in reality, it is there that details, aspects, and techniques are born that can be easily transferred into everyday life. Like art, street style outfits are a great source of inspiration for our wardrobes.

After Paris Fashion Week, I have put together a few tips for you that are quite wearable and will add interest to your outfits.

Red accents

One such technique is to add red accents to your look. This can be anything from a single item of clothing or a group of accessories to a small detail such as lipstick or manicure. It all depends on your willingness and courage to experiment. Screenshot 2025-10-09 at 22:23:31.png IMG_0855.jpg Screenshot 2025-10-09 at 22:33:58.png

How does this technique work? Any outfit, even a relatively basic one, with such a bright accent will sparkle with new colors and have a focal point that is sure to attract attention. Plus, such a detail “brings together” the outfit, making it look well-thought-out and complete.

Gray skirts

Another interesting point is gray skirts. On the one hand, they are an office classic, but on the other, they are a very modest item, especially considering all the experiments that fashion is currently offering us. Gray is a great base for any combination. You can safely experiment with gray, adding any color — even the brightest ones look harmonious with it.

Plus, you can play with gray monochrome sets based on a gray skirt, changing the shape or texture. This technique also works great for minimalists. In fact, if you were planning to replenish your fall-winter capsule, a gray skirt is a great solution.

Suit solutions

On the one hand, there is nothing new here, but this season, they are quite common in street styles. I think this is a sign that fashion is finding its balance even in a creative sense. Suit solutions are very practical. They can be used for unusual events: street style, events, theater premieres, etc. They are also easy to adapt to everyday life by minimizing the number of accents and making the accessory group more basic. As a whole, they look quite striking and attract attention, but if you separate the top and bottom, the effect will be much softer. Accordingly, when you buy one suit, you get many interesting options.

Animal prints

Animal prints are a classic accent, a trend that has become a staple over time. A single print in an outfit is a safe choice that can be easily incorporated into everyday looks. A bolder option is to combine two or more animal prints in one outfit. And one more thing: the further the print is from your face, the easier it is to adapt it to your look. If you're not sure whether this is the right choice for you, go for shoes or a belt.

In conclusion

Paris has reminded us once again that style is the foundation of everything. One bright accent, a precise shape, a basic item in a new perspective, and your usual wardrobe begins to look different. Fashion does not only exist on the catwalk — it is born in the details that we notice and choose for ourselves.
