The Row's runway innovation took us back to our childhood and inspired many brands to create their own variations. Unusual and interesting — especially at the beginning of the season. But they have already had their day and are unlikely to return to peak popularity.
Harem pants
They attracted attention thanks to their long-forgotten cut and slight echo of the 2000s. But they are difficult to style and not very flattering for most figures. If we still see them in September, it will be the last gasp of the trend.
Dirty jeans “Thoughtful carelessness” always finds its reflection in fashion. But there is a nuance here: “fashionable dirt” cannot be confused with accidentally spilled coffee. These jeans have a very recognizable code, images with them are easily remembered and quickly become boring.
There are no eternal things in fashion. It's okay to experiment with trends if they bring you pleasure. But if you prefer a more stable wardrobe, there is a simple guideline: items with a bright “visual code” quickly lose their freshness.

High-quality wool or cashmere sweater
Highly versatile: works with jeans, trousers, skirts, and, depending on the style, over dresses. Its functionality is also impeccable: in September, we throw it over our shoulders, and from November, we warm ourselves in its “embrace.” Ideally, it should contain no more than 30% synthetic fibers.
Satin pants
Not too formal, but formal enough for any occasion. They go well with both a T-shirt and a sweater. They work well in single-layer outfits, as well as with a trench coat or cardigan. As a bonus, they provide both tactile and aesthetic pleasure.
Ballet flats
Functional footwear that fits equally well with casual and preppy styles. Lightweight, comfortable, and versatile. Ideal for traveling—they take up minimal space in your suitcase.
Every season has items that come and go quickly. But it is not these items that determine the value of a wardrobe, but those elements that remain and withstand changes in mood and circumstances. They become not just clothing, but a backdrop for life: recognizable, familiar, and always appropriate.
It is these items that shape true style — beyond the trends calendar.
